Terms and privacy
Last updated: May 22, 2026
These are the terms and privacy notice for the Florø Poker website, accounts, event signup, results display, and membership. They apply to visitors, free account holders, players signing up for open events, and paying members using annual Vipps MobilePay recurring billing.
Florø Poker is the controller for personal data used for club operations, events, and membership. The website is provided and technically operated by Warpkode AS on behalf of the club. Contact floropokerklubb@gmail.com if you have questions, want to exercise privacy rights, cancel membership renewal, or ask for a correction.
Florø Poker is a social, voluntary, non-commercial live poker club for people aged 18 or older. The website does not provide gambling or online poker.
Privacy
The club processes personal data for specific purposes: operating the website, creating and securing accounts, handling event signup and waitlists, running events, publishing results and rankings, administering membership, handling payment, and sending necessary account, event, and membership messages.
Data may include name, email, phone number, postal code, age confirmation showing that you are 18 or older, gender where used for statistics or event planning, language, roles and access rights, signups, waitlist and check-in status, player and result data, public display name or alias, membership status, membership terms acceptance, Vipps MobilePay payment and agreement IDs, email preferences, email delivery/open/click/bounce status where enabled, technical logs, and security data.
The club does not store card numbers, bank account numbers, or payment card details. Those payment details are handled by Vipps MobilePay and their payment providers.
The legal basis is contract where processing is necessary for accounts, signup, membership, or payment. Legal obligation is used for accounting, payment documentation, and statutory duties. Legitimate interests are used for security, abuse prevention, operations, internal control, historical results, and basic statistics where the club's interest does not override your privacy. Consent is used for optional marketing, newsletters, certain publications, and non-essential tracking technologies if enabled.
Do not submit sensitive data through the website unless the club specifically asks for it and explains why it is needed.
Account and signup terms
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, sign up for events, or become a member. You must provide correct contact details, keep your login secure, and not use another person's account. The club may reject, close, or anonymize accounts containing false information, abuse, spam, or breaches of club rules.
A free account and normal event signup are free of charge. Non-paying users can view public information, create an account, and sign up for open events when signup is open to everyone and the event does not require membership. Non-paying users receive necessary operational messages about their own signup, waitlist, changes, cancellations, and security.
Membership fees are not event signup fees, stakes, buy-ins, or contributions to tournament prizes. Fees are used for club operations, equipment, administration, and practical costs, and must be kept separate from any prizes or gifts of value in events.
Signup is personal. You may not transfer your seat to someone else unless the organizer approves it. If you cannot attend, cancel as early as possible so the waitlist can be handled fairly. The organizer may move, cancel, change capacity, close signup, prioritize waitlists, or refuse participation when needed for safety, practical operations, legal compliance, or proper club administration.
You must follow tournament direction, house rules, conduct rules, and organizer instructions. Harassment, threats, cheating, result manipulation, side betting through the club, credit play, intoxicated behavior, or disruptive behavior may lead to refusal, removal, deleted signup, or further board action.
The website may show statuses, errors, and rule-based decisions, such as whether an event is full, whether you are waitlisted, or whether membership gives early signup. Important decisions may be manually reviewed by an organizer or the board when needed.
Responsible live poker
Florø Poker is intended to be a social live poker club without a profit motive. The club does not provide online poker, gambling, cash games, credit play, buy-ins, rebuys, or add-ons through the website. Events must be planned and run within Norwegian rules.
Norwegian poker rules distinguish between private poker games, games with stakes and prizes, and other social play. The club therefore uses a free and social model. Membership fees must not be used as disguised stakes, payments for participation in a tournament, or funding for prizes. If an event includes a prize, sponsorship, gift card, or cooperation with a venue, the board or organizer must assess the setup in advance and only proceed when it is responsible under the rules. The club may remove prizes, change the setup, or cancel events if there is uncertainty.
Participants must not organize side bets, prize pools, credit play, or private payment arrangements through the club, website, or event. Participants who appear underage may be asked for valid ID. The organizer may refuse participation due to intoxication, unsafe behavior, or rule breaches.
Results, rankings, and points are club history and competition administration. They are not proof of cash winnings.
Paid membership and Vipps MobilePay
Membership is optional unless a specific member event expressly requires active membership. Paid membership gives the benefits shown on the membership page at the relevant time, such as early signup where configured, a membership badge, and club democratic rights under the statutes. Membership does not guarantee a seat at a specific event, a prize, a discount, or a fixed activity level.
Florø Poker's ordinary membership is configured as an annual membership fee of NOK 100 with no VAT added under the current club setup. If the board changes price, VAT assessment, or benefits, this must be shown before you approve a new or changed payment agreement.
The membership fee is used for club operations, equipment, administration, and practical costs. It is not an event signup fee, stake, buy-in, rebuy, add-on, or contribution to tournament prizes. The fee gives no right to a cash prize or share of a prize pool.
Payment is handled with Vipps MobilePay Recurring. When you start membership, you are sent to Vipps MobilePay to approve a recurring payment agreement. The agreement may charge the annual membership fee automatically while active. Vipps MobilePay shows the agreement, amount, interval, and payment method before approval. Payment status from Vipps MobilePay determines whether the membership is active, pending, failed, cancelled, or expired in the club system.
You can cancel future renewal from the account page when self-service is active, in the Vipps app where the agreement can be managed, or by contacting floropokerklubb@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future charges, but normally does not end benefits for a period already paid. Failed charges may pause member benefits until payment is resolved.
Florø Poker gives a 14-day cancellation right for new paid memberships entered into on the website. Use it by contacting the club within the deadline. If cancellation is valid, membership ends, future charges stop, and the paid fee is refunded except where the club may lawfully charge for benefits already delivered at your express request. Erroneous or duplicate charges will be corrected as soon as practical.
Results, rankings, and public profiles
Florø Poker keeps results, rankings, and player statistics to administer competitions, preserve club history, and make events clearer for participants. Public results may show finishing position, points, event, date, prize label, public display name, and membership marker.
Public display should not require full names by default. The system is configured to support first name plus last initial, approved alias, or another configured display mode. Full name, email, and phone may still be visible to organizers and administrators where needed for operations, check-in, and safety.
You can ask the club to correct your name, review an alias, hide your public profile, or anonymize older results where practically and legally possible. The club may retain historical results in anonymized or limited form where needed for club history, ranking integrity, dispute handling, or legal documentation.
Event photos are only published where the club has a suitable basis, normally consent or a specific assessment for a limited club purpose. Tell the organizer if you do not want to be photographed.
Who data is shared with
Access to personal data is limited to the board, administrators, organizers, and technical providers who need the data to operate the club, website, events, payment, or communication. Organizers may receive participant and contact lists where needed for check-in, waitlists, table setup, safety, and practical operations.
The club uses or may use Supabase for database, authentication, and storage, Vercel for hosting, SendGrid for email, Vipps MobilePay for payment, Warpkode AS for technical operation and development, and an SMS provider if SMS is enabled later. These providers process data under agreements or their own payment and communication terms.
Data may be transferred or made available outside Norway where provider systems require it. The club will use providers and agreements that provide required safeguards under privacy law. Data is not sold. The club only shares data with public authorities where required by law or necessary to handle legal claims, security, or abuse.
Retention and your rights
Account and profile data is normally stored while you have an account or while the club needs the data for membership, events, security, or documentation. Signup data is stored as long as needed for events, waitlists, history, and practical follow-up. Payment and accounting data is stored as long as the club must or should keep it under accounting, tax, or documentation rules. Logs and technical security data are stored as briefly as practical, but long enough to detect errors, abuse, and security events.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection where privacy law gives you those rights. You may withdraw consent for optional marketing and certain publications. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was already lawful before withdrawal, or processing the club must carry out for other reasons.
Deletion may be limited where the club must keep data for accounting, payment, security, historical results, disputes, legal claims, or club administration. Where full deletion is not possible, the club may anonymize, restrict, or hide data where practically and legally possible.
Contact floropokerklubb@gmail.com for privacy questions. If you believe the club is not handling your personal data correctly, you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
Email, notifications, and cookies
The club may send necessary emails about accounts, login, signup, waitlists, events, membership, payment, security, and important operational changes. These messages are sent because they are necessary for the service you use.
Optional emails about club news, new events, early signup, reminders, and marketing are controlled by your email preferences where the system separates these from necessary operational messages. You can opt out of optional emails from your account page or by contacting the club.
SendGrid or a similar email provider may register delivery, opens, clicks, bounces, and spam reports so the club can see whether important messages arrive, measure campaign performance, and keep email lists clean. Such statistics are only used for club communication, operations, and improvement, not for selling data.
The website uses necessary technical cookies or local storage for login, security, language, theme, and core functionality. The club does not use marketing cookies by default. If non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar tracking is enabled later, users must receive required information and choices where consent is required by law.
Changes, contact, and document basis
The club may update these terms when the website, payment, events, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated clearly before they take effect where reasonable and required. The version published on this page at any time governs continued use of the website.
The terms are tailored to the club foundation documents, statutes, and practical tournament documents: Florø Poker is a voluntary club for people aged 18 or older, with a social purpose, annual membership fee, annual meeting and board, and events intended to be free, orderly, and non-profit. Membership fees must be used for club operations, equipment, administration, and practical costs, not stakes or prizes. If website text conflicts with the statutes, the board should correct this and publish updated information.
Questions about accounts, membership, payment, signup, results, or privacy can be sent to floropokerklubb@gmail.com.
Website solution ownership
Warpkode AS owns the website solution permanently, including the source code, software architecture, design system, components, integrations, deployment setup, documentation, and later improvements, unless a separate written agreement signed by Warpkode AS expressly says otherwise.
The club receives the right to use the solution for the club website under its agreement with Warpkode AS, but ownership of the solution, source code, or other reusable technical material is not transferred to the club, members, users, sponsors, or other parties.
Club-specific content, uploaded media, personal data, event data, results, member data, payment records, and the club's name, logo, and other branding remain owned by the club or other rightful owner and are separate from Warpkode AS's ownership of the solution.
